We are currently seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor to join our dynamic team, to assist in managing the Supply Chain services and Johannesburg facility in line with Rolls-Royce Solutions Africa group offerings to external and internal clients Overall management and coordination of all warehousing and Inventory functions in the Johannesburg Warehouse Responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of stock handling from picking stock orders to shipping and dispatching and associated processes Manage resource planning is done to ensure the smooth running of the Johannesburg facility and support of the business. Manage all SHEQ requirements relating to Warehouse and facility management and support the SHEQ manager with any adhoc SHEQ requirements. Drive continuous improvement measures within the department. Ensure that warehouse space, equipment and warehouse flow is optimized and that future warehouse requirements are planned. Ensure stock accuracy through cycical counts, quarterly stock takes and improvement initiatives. Measure and manage staff through development and coaching. Assist in managing the Item master in SAP B1 through parts creation and parts management across all business entities. Do approvals in SAP B1 for procurement and stock postings. Monitor purchase orders in line with company policies, VAZA 008 and VAZA 030 Stock reports (GIT, Back orders, consumption and any other Adhoc reports) Manage projects according to stipulated time frames, CIF's ,Repowers and other logistics projects. Freight management (Local and International) Manage stock transfers and back-order reports for all mine sites Reverse logistics-returns from customers,field service, power gen and workshops Engagement with internal stakeholders including but not limited to, human resources and other relevant support functions. Assisting with RIM process management for stock replenishment Facility Maintenance by Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems Follow up on all queries related to customer services across all channels Liaise with and negotiating with suppliers to ensure SLA's are met and manage service deliveries Communicate any changers or updates in the Supply Chain legislation (Example incoterms, transport regulation etc) to business partners. Ad-hoc tasks requested by manager. Bachelor's degree / National Diploma in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics required Excellent communication at all levels Self-starter Ability to motivate and inspire others Must be analytically minded and able to find and use data to inform decision making.
