The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing warehouse stock, which includes cycle counts.
Completing stock sheets accurately.
Drawing customer orders from stock per requests and invoices.
Preparing orders for delivery.
Planning the most effective routes for the drivers.
Recording delivered stock onto SAP.
Receiving incoming stock.
Checking the incoming stock against the order.
Booking new stock onto SAP.
Recording order deviations and advising the Manager.
Ensuring that the drivers’ vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
Conducting general standby duties by assisting with after hour orders and dispatch.
Ensuring that drivers submit their signed delivery notes.
Submitting copy-tax invoices to the Accounts Department.
Ensuring that goods are signed for.
Adhering to health and safety policies at all times.
Minimum requirements for the role:
Minimum Grade 12 is essential.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have goods receiving, issuing to manufacturing, receipting from manufacturing and outbound logistics experience.
Must have a high level of integrity and ethical standards.
Must be deadline driven.
Excellent time management skills.
Must have strong problem-solving skills.
Must have strong analytical skills.
Must be a self-motivated and a result-driven individual.
Must be energetic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
