Young and vibrant business looking to expand its team, in the clothing and footwear wholesale and retail environment. We are looking for a multi-skilled, hardworking and efficient warehouse assistant. The role encompasses being able to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner. Be able to understand of stock management & inventory control methods and procedures. WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT Responsibilities: Moving items through the warehouse from receipt to despatch to customers. Loading and unloading trucks, vans and other vehicles. Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day. Receiving and checking incoming goods against supplier invoices, orders and stock received. Reporting any shortages / excess stock / incorrect styles or colours received to Operations manager. Selecting space for storage and arranging for good to be placed in the designated areas. Accurately updating all data into computer and manual recording systems. Monitoring stock levels. Picking stock for customer orders Packaging and labelling products/orders before they are dispatched. Contacting transport companies and coordinating dispatch and delivery with them. Delivering to local stores Following up on delivery queries of customers Ensuring on-time deliveries by following up on delivery report daily Updating stock reports and monthly stock takes on system and spreadsheets Ensure warehouse is a clean, tidy and safe workspace and everything in its place Ensure paperwork is done and filed correctly on timely basis Provision of training for future warehousing staff sKILLS REQUIRED: Valid Code 8 Drivers License Excellent communicator in EnglishReliable and trustworthyComputer literate as need to interact with systems, receive/send emails, scanKnowledge of outlook, excel a must, and Integrity POS system a plusAbility to work under pressure unsupervised, as well as part of the teamPrepared to work flexible and long hours at times if neededExperience with Integrity system a plus Remuneration depending on experience Please send your CV, motivation letter and copy of driver's licence to hrbrandcollective.co.za Apply Now
