Reference: PE000932-M -1 Our client is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team. The Warehouse Manager position handles the order processing on Dear Inventory, then manages a small team to ensure swift and accurate picking, storage, and dispatch while managing security and upkeep. The warehouse is 1,200 square meters. Additionally, the warehouse manager aids in strategy planning and execution, linking projects to business goals. Drives operational improvements with a hands-on approach, leading change for the business and warehouse team. Requirements: High level of computer skills essential – preferably Google and other cloud-based software. High Computer Literacy, systems, and tech comfortability related to Warehouse management, especially in the following systems and programs: Dear Systems – link. Shopify. Takealot, Makro back-end (order management). Google Sheets. At least 3-5 years of proven working experience as a warehouse or inventory manager. Record of successful distribution and logistics management, including leadership and team management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and decision-making under pressure. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects. Good personal presentation and professional behavior. Responsibilities: Process orders from Takealot, Marko, and the business website on the dear system for the packing team. Recon and audit of system to ensure 100% order and stock accuracy. Manages team to accomplish all warehouse duties to maintain operational excellence - cycle counts, cleanliness, and system accuracy. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with the business management system. Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments. Resolve any arising problems or complaints. Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements. Working in conformity with laws, regulations, and policies. Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials which includes daily cycle counts. Handle and Assess all returns in a timely manner. Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delays. Developing an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations and communicating the company's goals or objectives. Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess the performance of the team and implement improvements. Ensuring that shipping documents are well-kept, updated, and in compliance. Provide constant feedback and updates on aspects relating to monthly forecasts, to relevant teams to capitalize on sales and customer satisfaction. Provide weekly and monthly overview report on the warehouse and all related efficiencies. Represent the warehouse and inventory at the weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings. Provide weekly reports for all aspects of the business, operations, staff, and systems. Provide a detailed strategy for all aspects of the business and initiate Standard Operating Procedures to improve all aspects of the warehouse.
