Our client, the oldest Cape Dutch Style Wine Farm and Hospitality Venue in the Boland area, wants to appoint an experienced Warehouse Manager at their depot in Johannesburg. Only persons who can communicate fluently in both Afrikaans and English should apply. Monitor the stock levels and orders at the Farm Coordinate the flow of stock into and out of the warehouse Manage on a continuous basis the receipt, handling and storage of goods and products Reconciliation of incoming and outbound stock with requisitions and up to date stock records and listings Receipt and dispatch of products and goods including the loading and off-loading of trucks Preparation and coordination of delivery schedules for drivers Management of drivers and route planning for their daily deliveries. A tertiary qualification in stock management/logistics or a similar qualification A minimum of 3 years' experience in Warehouse Management Valid drivers' license Experience in forklift driving – a forklift license will be a benefit Good knowledge and grasp of warehouse management procedures Solid knowledge of stock and stock control processes and systems Need to be able to communicate fluently in Afrikaans and English Computer literacy – MS Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent leadership and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability and availability to work overtime when the work load requires it Arrange the services, maintenance and repairs of delivery vehicles when required Market related
