Founded in 1992 by Costa and Desiree Airaga, Desco Electronic Recyclers is an established, environmentally responsible, and accredited recycler of electronic waste situated in Kempton Park. Our services are offered to the public, small/medium enterprises (SME) and large corporations. We also provide services to government, educational and medical institutions. Desco benchmarks against processes across world-wide boundaries, according to sustainable technological innovation and processes, specifically those linked to E-Waste. Our head office and processing plant is situated in Pomona, Gauteng. Duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to: Responsible for all receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods and pallets. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place of objects in the warehouse. Loading and offloading of trucks using a forklift. Keep track of stock on hand of materials. Dispatching and receiving of stock and/or materials. Follow all workplace policies and safety guidelines. Must be able to meet targets. Attention to detail when doing stock control in the warehouse Requirements: Good physical condition and ability to lift and move heavy objects if required. Must be a team participant. Must have attention to detail. Must reside in the East Rand Area. Must be a reliable person and trustworthy. Must have own vehicle to be able to commute to work. Must be punctual and keep to time. Computer literacy (Ms office and other systems where applicable) Experience and qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric) Must have at least 3 years' experience as Warehouse Worker/Manager. Must have experience in operating a forklift. Must have clear criminal record. Market Related
