We're looking for people who are inspired by this mission and can help us achieve it. ikeja Wireless PTY (LTD) is looking for technicians to join our team, as we embark on the expansion of our network throughout South Africa. In taking on this role, you will be joining a talented and passionate team who are intrinsically motivated by the fact that we are a fast-growing internet startup which finds itself in the telecommunications space. Managing the warehouse in compliance with ikeja's policies and vision • Ensure efficient layout and utilization of the space • Manage the stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the finance and sales department • Drive the implementation of all warehouse activities being accurately captured on Odoo and/or another related software • Proactively work towards eliminating inefficiencies and strive for continuous improvement of the stock control function •Identifying bottlenecks and initiating and implementing improvements Effective root cause analysis, problem-solving and implementation of corrective and preventative measures, including introducing internal controls. Degree/Diploma in Logistics, supply chain management or project management •Minimum of 5 years working in a warehouse setting, with at least 3 being in management •Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices •Proven ability to conceptualize and implement process improvement initiatives •Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) •Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases •Leadership skills and the ability to coordinate and organize other staff as well as allocate resources •A proven experience in multi-tasking and prioritizing different tasks
