Warehouse Picker - Paarl
Job Description Summary: The Warehouse Picker - is responsible for managing the secondary packaging warehouse and ensuring that secondary packing operations have full kits picked to pack products into finished units. This role involves tasks such as keeping count of secondary packaging materials, keeping shelfs neat and tidy, coordinating with primary picking operations to ensure timely availability of components, maintaining accurate documentation of secondary packaging materials, and supporting secondary packing operations as required. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate documentation of secondary packaging materials, including quantities and locations. Support secondary packing operations by providing necessary materials and assistance as required. Conduct regular audits of secondary packaging inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages. Assist in the resolution of any discrepancies or issues related to secondary packaging materials. Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to optimize inventory management processes and improve efficiency. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. Basic understanding of inventory management principles. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required. Forklift License benefecial Matric Certificate or equivalent.
