Reports to Warehouse & Logistics Manager Hours of work 45 hours per week, working from 07:00 to 16:30; for this role flexibility in working hours may be required due to the nature of this role. Overall scope of role The puller's overall job function is to assemble customer orders accurately and timely. They need to ensure that housekeeping is maintained and will be required to assist in stock take. Key responsibilities Assemble customer orders Attend to queries / prevent future pulling errors from happening Ensure shelves are well stocked with correct product Label certain products with correct barcodes/labels Key communication and relationships Receive instructions from warehouse supervisor / manager Communicate with warehouse supervisor/ manager about any stock problems Communicate with checkers/ sales if any problems with pulled order Specific duties Assemble customer orders Take sales order from top of sales order tray Follow best route and pull the correct quantities and items as per the order by using item stock stock Ensure that items are pulled from the left on the shelf. Inform relevant parties if stock levels are running low. Where possible assist in replenishing and packing of stock onto shelves. Once order has been completed, place the order at the designated checking area and hand the sales order to the correct sales person. Housekeeping Ensure warehouse is kept neat and tidy Ensure designated row is kept well replenished, clean and stock is being rotated correctly Ensure you pull neatly, don't open sealed boxes unnecessarily, or damage packaging while pulling Stock take Will be required to assist with stock takes Follow relevant stock take procedures Skills, qualifications and experience needed Product knowledge Knowledge of stock rotation and pulling procedures Basic arithmetic skills and good communication
