What will you be doing? The role forms part of the Supply Chain Division and is responsible for the overall planning, coordinating, and following up the activities of the Team Leaders and Inventory leads and their teams in the OSC. This role involves the thorough use of the systems (WebOps), AX and Dashboards, Supervisors are expected to be able to confidently manage & lead the operations and be able to share reports with senior management on the progress of the OSC from an operational viewpoint. The successful incumbent will be responsible for remaining continuous in the quest for deliveries to be On Time and In Full (OTIF) by being both service and performance orientated. This role involves working very close with the Team leaders and Inventory leads in managing the expectation of the client as well as the ability to competently handle conflict in inter departmental as well as within their own department. Another focus for this position will be supervision of the full component of distribution from stock entry point to the stock return and replenishment. What will you need to be successful? Experience in supervising and leading the activities of the warehouse team Manage floor resources Lead productivity and 5S improvement initiatives, etc. Experience in overseeing and ensuring good housekeeping in the warehouse. Support in management meetings Experience with Identifying and developing new SOPs Experience in the ownership of exploring new areas of opportunity Experience in the ownership of following up on action plans to continuously improve Ensuring the team complies with corporate and global safety guidelines Strong leadership, planning and coordinating skills related to the function Successful candidates would need the following: Matriculation with a diploma in Supply Chain Management/Operations Valid driver's license (Code EB) with no endorsements . 3 to 4 years experience in a similar role Demonstrated ability in logistics and supply chain.
