The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of water treatment projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and delivering sustainable solutions. The Water Treatment Civil Engineer will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to optimize water treatment processes, enhance system efficiency, and contribute to the overall improvement of water quality. Responsibilities: Project Planning and Design: Develop and implement comprehensive plans for water treatment projects, considering environmental regulations and project specifications. Design and optimize water treatment facilities, ensuring efficient and sustainable processes. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations related to water treatment and ensure all projects comply with relevant standards. Prepare and submit regulatory permits and documentation as required. Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough technical analysis of water treatment systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions. Perform hydraulic and hydrological modeling to assess system performance. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including environmental engineers, hydrologists, and project managers, to ensure the successful execution of water treatment projects. Liaise with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project coordination. Construction Oversight: Provide technical oversight during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Address and resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Monitor project expenditures and adjust plans as needed to stay within budgetary constraints. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable. Experience in civil engineering with a focus on water treatment projects Specialized expertise in water treatment engineering. Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience in project management and coordination. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
