With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the Wealth business have a strong performing self-managed fund, a corporate residential fund (REIT) and entrenched Wealth Management business. The investment vehicle scope, depth & extent of knowledge required compounded by the global nature of asset allocation will bring a challenge & learning curve to the most experienced CFP professional. Role outline: CFP®’s with a deep focus on holistic financial planning. Clients in the Wealth space tend to prefer having everything “under one roof” which is different from the AFO space who sometimes select managers for specific plays. The candidate should be well versed in all aspects of financial planning. I refer to some clients with very large AUM’s as “UHNW retail” despite them qualifying as family office tier clients. This is due to their needs and sophistication being of a Wealth nature despite their large AUM. 5 years’ experience in the HNW space, unless it’s someone special that we are looking to invest in. Not the atypical salesman, but someone with the right amount of polish and natural sales ability. Entrepreneurially minded. Values and culture fit is an essential. Someone who is a big picture thinker that can leverage various internal business division and integrate their service offerings to deliver the final client solution, i.e. bringing in: Fiduciary Services Asset Management Private Equity Any building blocks to ensure the client is well looked after by the Group, meaning we’ll have multiple “lines” into the client relationship which leads to better retention rates and a bigger share of investible assets from the client Attributes: Analytical Consciousness to detail Goal oriented Presentation Strong relationship builder and manager Assertiveness Effective communication and ability to convey complex systems into understandable concepts Education: A minimum of a degree or diploma; B Com, Hnrs Investment Management.
