Job Opportunity:Position: Welder and General Trailer Maintenance TechnicianDzonga Trailers is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to oversee the maintenance and repair operations for its expanding trailer rental business in the Limpopo region of South Africa, specifically in Giyani, Malamulele, and Thohoyandou.Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalent; Technical school certificate preferred, with a trade test as an added advantageProficiency in ARC and CO2 welding techniquesKnowledge of various types of steelMinimum 5 years of welding experienceValid drivers licenseDuties:The successful candidate will be responsible for:Conducting repairs and maintenance on trailers across company branchesRebuilding damaged trailers as neededPerforming regular servicing on company trailers and customer-requested trailersInspecting trailers for defects or damage upon return by customersConducting monthly spares stock take and weekly tools stock takeProviding training to new branch operators when necessaryDesired Attributes/Skills:Honesty and reliabilityEnthusiasm and punctualityAttention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to work well within a teamSalary: Starting from R3500 to R6000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
