An industry leader in the mining sector which is based in the NORTHWEST PROVINCE and within the Orkney area, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Winding Engine Driver QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE : Must be in possession of Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent. Be in possession of a valid Certificate of Fitness or able to obtain it. Must be in a possession of a valid Winding Engine Driver and an Onsetter Certificate. Be able to solve problems independently and have sound communication skills. Must have sound knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act. Must be prepared to work shifts and overtime. Must have at least 3 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver. Must have his/her own transport. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate winders safely and according to regulations and special instructions. Safe conveyance of man and material. Will report directly to the WED Co-ordinator Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening.
