Workshop Assistant - Cape Town City Centre
Candidate requirements:
- Assisting mechanics or technicians with repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Cleaning and organizing the workshop area to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Preparing tools, equipment, and materials needed for repairs.
- Keeping inventory of supplies and ordering replacements when necessary.
- Performing basic maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery.
- Providing general support to workshop staff as needed.
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
- Problem-solving skills to assist with troubleshooting and finding solutions to issues that arise in the workshop.
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Must reside in the Western Cape.
