Position: Workshop Co-Ordinator

Location: Port Elizabeth

Role Summary

The Workshop Coordinator provides administrative and support services to facilitate the functionality and
operation of the workshop and the fleet

Minimum Qualification Criteria:
  • Matric
  • Diploma/Certificate in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain would be advantageous
  • 3-4 years related experience.
  • Attention to details.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Time management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Administer new drivers and leavers.
  • Keep the fleet database up to date.
  • Provide administrative support to customers and drivers
  • Administer fuel cards and driver fines.
  • Ensure all drivers receive relevant where necessary training.
  • Manage the telematics system, driver aps, fuel cards, tolls etc.
  • Assess vehicles for damage during the return process, accurately recording/photographing all damage, we would need to provide evidence should an invoice come through for damages. Get the vehicle repaired & in good condition prior to hiring it out again
  • Allocation of vehicles to workshop for service, maintenance and hire preparation (monitor and progress vehicles through the preparation and /or refurbishment cycle)
  • Audit - continual assessment of vehicles ensuring that current system status is accurate and reviewing with line managers
