The ideal candidate must have a Trade Test with experience in a franchise dealership.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow workshop technicians
• Provide technical support for technicians when necessary
• Check progress of each repair order throughout the day
• Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
• Road tests vehicles to quality-check work performed
• Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records
• Monitor shop condition, including cleanliness, safety and the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems to the service manager
• Ensures the proper care, storage and inventory of special tools
• Maintains safe work environment
• Communicate with staff, parts department, and other departments effectively

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate (Motor Mechanic)
• Workshop Foreman experience at a Motor Vehicle Dealership with a stable work track record
• Valid Drivers License
• Computer literate
