Our client is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Workshop Foreman for a position in Richards Bay. Key Experience and Requirements: Matric or N3 equivalent Completed Trade Test as a Diesel Mechanic 3-5 years experience in a Foreman/ Supervisory based role Knowledge of Health and Safety standards and procedures Valid code 08 license is essential (preferred Code 10/ Code 14 license) Strong communication and leadership skills are essential Ability to interact with customers and suppliers alike Applicants must reside in the KZN area Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to; Supervising workshop functions and workflow Assuming control of and allocating flow of work through the workshop Ensuring jobs are completed in a timeous manner and to standard Responsible for managing workshop housekeeping and operating practices Reporting on hazards and incidents Monitoring of breakdowns and following up on progress of works Responsible for the handling and resolution of mechanical queries Maintaining of quality standards
