An opportunity for an experienced WORKSHOP FOREMAN is required for permanent employment based in Greytown.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a large farming (on site) workshop
• Supervise 6 x Mechanics (Hands on approach)
• Previous experience with the following fleet / equipment (required)

• UD Trucks x 20
• Tractors x 25
• Bell loaders x 16
• Bakkies x 38
• Cranes (Mobile & Overhead)
• Skidders

Workshop stores / controlWorkshop buying / procurementStaff / team managementPrioritize, planning, workshop schedules etcCall outs / breakdowns / weekends & afterhours availability

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Trade Test Diesel/Petrol Mechanic (Technician)
• Min 8-10 years post trade exp. (Mechanical exp a must)
• Previous Forestry / Timber / Sawmilling / Farming / Agriculture exp. (req.)
• Previous Workshop Foreman exp. req.
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Zulu speaking (adv.)
• Drivers licence
• Computer literate
• Stable work history with traceable / contactable references.
