Workshop Manager (JB4603) Emalahleni, Mpumalanga R15 000 to R20 000 a month CTC Permanent A company in Mpumalanga is looking for a Workshop Manager to join their Team. The Company tackles electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power management challenges. Specializing in automation, motor control, SmartWire-DT, command and control, data networks, and circuit protection, they ensure critical systems work efficiently and reliably Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 and relevant technical qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related field Proven experience in managing a workshop environment, particularly in the electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power management sectors Strong background in automation, motor control, SmartWire-DT, command and control, data networks, and circuit protection Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges Proficiency in using workshop management software and tools Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity Manage and coordinate a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards Monitor and control workshop budgets and expenses Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship Conduct regular inspections and audits of workshop activities and equipment Manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary parts and materials Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and project completion Provide training and development opportunities for workshop staff Maintain accurate records of all workshop activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records Ensure timely completion of all projects and repairs, meeting client expectations and deadlines Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve workshop operations Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
