Workshop Millwright - Richards Bay
In this role you will succeed by performing the following tasks: Customer support, equipment assessments, fault finding and technical assistance Assist and advise customers on any technical matter related to Fives (ECL & Solios) products/equipment Maintain ongoing contact with customers to be aware of their technical problems Communicate internally should any issues / delays be imminent Initiate actions for improvements in liaison with Workshop Manager and Operations Manager Estimate the time, details and requirements for any improvement or modification on repairs / equipment. Ensure high quality repair / modification / installation of our customers’ equipment In-house mechanical / electrical stripping, assessing, assembly and installations Assist on quality assurance and control to guarantee Fives standards Participate in daily meetings to discuss progress on current workload in fitting shop Participate and comply with HSEQ MS as per the Fives requirement Must be a South African citizen Education & Experience: Mechanical and Electrical trade (Millwright) More than 5 years’ experience in Aluminium Smelter environment preferred Experience in MS Projects. Excellent ability to read and interpret drawings
