Workshop Technician - - Cape Town City Centre

Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

The successful candidate will be providing technical and diagnostic assistance within the service department as per customer requirements.
Responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of diesel, gas, and electric cleaning equipment on-site.
Repairing, service and maintain diesel, gas, and electric cleaning equipment in workshop.
Complete job cards, quotes, and check sheets
Assisting with other general maintenance activities
Communicate with Managers, and Service Admin staff members
Housekeeping, clean-up of all maintenance areas/work areas daily.
Traveling required to service and repair on sites (if necessary)

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

Diesel / Gas and electrical knowledge and experience will be an added advantage
Completed Diesel / Gas & Electrical Qualification will be an added advantage
5 years’ experience with servicing and repairing cleaning equipment
Must be able to read and understand schematics
Must be able to communicate with customers at all levels as well as other employees & helpdesk operators
Must adhere to all SHEQ requirements
Must be able to read, write and speak in English
Must also be computer literate (Emails, quotes, and machine updates)
