JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage availability, maintenance and safety of electrical infrastructure
Tracking the movement of equipment.
Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment/infrastructure.
Conduct studies and make recommendations on upgrades/replacements of assets.
Input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the asset.
Ensure and maintain safe and clean working environment (housekeeping).
Ensure safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Monitor and manage quality of maintenance work.
Provide input into the development of maintenance planning programmer and execution thereof.
Execute routine inspections on infrastructure.
Utilisation of enterprised asset management system.
Participate in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
Ensure compliance to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreement.
Provide input to and manage allocated budget.
