Incorporate all changes to current business model and structure. Prepare budget (annually) and forecasts (quarterly). Financial and operational reporting/authorisation. Generate financial reports on SAP and distribute to the relevant key receivers. Scrutinise expenses for incorrect GL and cost allocations and identify, investigate, and report variances to budget. Compile tax pack and distribute to tax accountant. Analyse top expense and benchmark with other companies in the same industries. Test and prepare transactions against policies/budgets, delegation of duties. Identify deviations to policies & procedures and implement improved control environment. Investigate, explain, or intervene in budget variances. Reconciliation of reports to operating systems. Evaluate financial performance of project against business case presented. Comply to IFRS (IAS16) standards regarding the accounting of fixed assets according to the standard. Annual review of residual value and useful life. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting Experience: Completed SAICA Articles Minimum 3 years accounting experience. Candidates with SAP knowledge will get preference. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software tools. Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Problem-solving skills. Ability to work well with a team.
