Artisan Fitter C2- (Extraction) - South Africa
Matric plus N4 (Mechanical Engineering) Completed an apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner. A recognized Trade Test certificate, Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner. At least 5 to 8 years heavy industrial fitting experience. A good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. A specific knowledge of Front-End Equipment (dewatering mills & carriers). Good fault-finding / problem solving skills. Ability to read and understand drawings and diagrams. A good understanding of the principles and techniques associated with condition based monitoring and modern alignment. Computer literate & conversant with planned maintenance system will be an added advantage. Sugar Mill experience will be an added advantage. Rigging experience. Turning/Welding Key Focus Area: Carry out plant inspections and schedules as per scheduled maintenance manual Carry out maintenance, overhauls gearboxes, pumps, centrifugals, fans, repairs on hydraulic etc. Perform Project work, such as installation of conveyors when required. Carry out fault finding on pneumatic systems.
