Reference: NFR002774-MAK-1My client is currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team and take charge of various financial responsibilities. As the Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing Accounts Payable and Procurement, Collections and Debt Management, Billing, Cashbook, Fixed Assets, and Overall Financial Management.This is position is based in Midrand. Duties:Accounts Payable and Procurement: Procurement oversight, policy compliance, and staff training. Purchase order review, budget alignment, and query resolution. Collaboration with stakeholders for planning and budgeting. Policy communication and enforcement Collections and Debt Management: Debt review management and collaboration with credit controllers. Regular debtor analysis and meeting attendance. Staff training for customer queries handling. Suspension and financial hold oversight. Billing: Billing record review and reconciliation. Bursary process management and billing submission. Joiners and leavers billing oversight. Assistance with pro-rata billing calculations. Cashbook: Deposit and payment allocation assistance. KARRI funds management and policy enforcement. Accurate credit card receipts submission. Fixed Assets: Fixed asset record management and submission. Asset counts and verification. Insurance renewals and claims handling. Overall Financial Management: Budget and forecast preparation and review. Monthly management account reviews and variance analysis. Collaboration for policy standardization. Support for audit processes and ad-hoc projects.
