Willow Soaps located in Kya Sands, focused contract manufacturing and packing company in the cosmetic and toiletry industry. We are an established concern of 30 years and we specialize in producing high-quality palm and glycerine soaps, as well as a variety of liquids comprising of gels, lotions and emulsions. The company is currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join the finance team. Job purpose summary: Ensures all supplier invoices are captured accurately and on time To update and maintain the financial records and systems of the organization as required Assists with the monthly closings and account analysis and supports the Accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance Department. Capturing creditor's invoices and preparing creditors' recons Compilation and submission of management accounts monthly of the Liquid plant Balance Sheet Recons done monthly. Ensuring all Provisions are done in a monthly manner Updating cash books weekly Calculations of commissions based on payments to be made Involved in stock Takes monthly Assists with audits Filing of documents to be done properly Records all the cash outflows weekly and ensures the schedule is up-to-date always Key Performance Areas Financial Records/Reports Responsible for ensuring all supplier invoices are captured correctly Recording of all cash outflows Responsible for submission of the management accounts for the Liquid plant Senior Certificate with Mathematics and Accounting Bookkeeping certificate/Diploma/Accounting Degree Previous experience in a similar position Previous working experience in the Position Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel) Bookkeeping knowledge - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
