A Shopfitting company in Germiston has a vacancy for a Bench Hand / Cabinet Maker. Please note: This position is open to all South Africa citizens. Build, repair, and the understanding of the installation of custom cabinetry according to customer specifications. Focus on finer details of woodworking, including the usage of various building materials and working with various tools and machinery. Essential Functions Thorough understanding of Shopfitting. Read and interpret drawing. Following standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines. Skills Enjoying working with one's hands. An ability to follow directions. Capable of complete technical accuracy. Proficient with mathematical calculations. Able to communicate well. Accurate hand-eye coordination. Teamwork and strong work ethic. Qualifications: Minimum of a completed Matric / Grade 12 certificate, would advantageous Must have basic computer literacy with an ability to learn new programs with relative ease. Experience A minimum of 5- 8 years' experience Working in a Shopfitting environment is essential. Working with the Drawing office is essential.
