Coffee Shop Manager - Paarl - Paarl

Our client in Paarl is looking for a Coffee shop Manager to join their team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a café, restaurant, or similar establishment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.

Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.

Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

Knowledge and passion for coffee, food, and the café culture.

Relevant certifications or qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are desirable.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the establishment.

Monitor and maintain quality control standards for coffee preparation, food service, and overall customer experience.

Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency in operations.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise café staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel.

Schedule staff effectively to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.

Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and high-performing team.

Customer Service:

Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive and memorable experience for all patrons.

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, including loyalty programs, promotions, and special events.

Financial Management:

Monitor and manage café expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and overhead expenses, to ensure profitability and budget compliance.

Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.

Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts in collaboration with senior management.

Community Engagement:

Act as a brand ambassador within the local community, fostering positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and community stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for community engagement and involvement, such as hosting events, workshops, and fundraisers.
