Commercial Manager - Gauteng The successful candidate must: Have a Bachelor's degree; Have at least 5 years relevant working experience; Have high commercial acumen; Have strong relationships with medical society bodies; Identify opportunities for growth & market share gain. Able to evaluate & report market trends & dynamics then build sales & marketing plans to address the changes; Be computer literate (Excel, Internet, Word will be an advantage); Have very good communication, telephone and interaction skills; Be assertive and able to deal with non-sales personnel; Have good administration skills and able to manage remote locations; Have the ability to work under pressure and still maintain high standards; Be a self-starter, deadline and results oriented; Have a willingness to travel; Proven ability to interact with key customers all through to executive levels. The Core responsibilities will be: Funder Re-Imbursement Develop (in conjunction with relevant Medical society bodies, where applicable) and implements reimbursement strategies and programs to obtain coverage, coding and payment from payer/providers; Provide reimbursement related advice to product development teams (with our Suppliers), marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical and business leaders; Identifies payer opportunities, issues and implements programs to resolve/decrease barriers to entry for the company products and therapies; Works closely with Health Economics and Outcome research staff to evaluate the economic impact of the use of therapies/products on payers, including the government; May create training and deliver education programs to sales force, physicians, case managers, hospital CFO's, medical directors, billing personnel and pharmacists in clinics and hospitals. Price Files Manage all pricing files to the various hospital groups, Medikredit and other payer bodies; Gather all relevant information for various teams within the Medhold Group and maintain the price file; Handle all pricing queries from the various funders and doctors as well as Hospital groups; Apply for Discovery Pin Approvals; Negotiate Price increases with the Hospital Groups; Manage ROE fluctuation increases on Tenders; Ensure that the Nappi Code Price file Tender Pricing is Accurately Loaded on ERP system; Maintain NAPPI Code files. Contract Management Maintain Key Register of Contracts/Agreements; Customer Contracts; Consignment Contracts; Placement Contracts; Service Contracts (EW & PM); Loan Agreements; Supplier Agreement; Other Commercial Agreements/contracts; Establish renewal/expiry dates and key contract issues for each of the above; Identify and Monitor key targets and performance on applicable contracts; Plan renewal negotiation dates with above contract parties; Annual Price Increases (Contracts); Maintain registers of key contact Tender Management Maintain Register or Tenders (Details, Expiry); Liaise with teams in terms of compiling Tender Submissions; Establish Standard Tender Documentation Files; Establish tender loss reasoning; Support team with African and Turnkey Tenders/Quotes/Projects. Other Maintain the image of the company; Maintain high Standard of Document Filing System (Soft & Hard); Active involvement across operations in support of the Commercial Function; Any other ad-hoc responsibilities as per your Job Description; Highlight Key risk areas with management; Reports as required e.g. Commercial Report; Any other duties that may be assigned as the role develops; Ensuring effective two-way communication with management takes place on a regular basis; Time management.
