A medical device distribution company based in Randburg is looking for a highly motivated and results driven individual with established networks and relationships with surgeons, physicians, hospitals and healthcare facilities to spearhead their sales growth. With a diverse portfolio of quality medical devices and supplies, this company seeks to grow its customer base within public and private hospitals and healthcare facilities primarily in Gauteng and surrounding provinces. Reporting to: Managing Director The succesful candidate will: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote and drive sales of products for the company according to the business plan. Manage sales activities for products and regions assigned to them. Establish, build and maintain networks and relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and healthcare institutions: Hospital Managers, Matrons, Physicians , clinicians, Unit managers, and Key Opinion Leaders through regular communication and unparalleled customer service. Build and maintain strong relations other important stakeholders, including customers, payers, government, and employees in representing our full line of products. Scheduling and attending appointments with existing and potential customers. Train customers on the full range of products offered by the company. Train junior employees and sales reps in good sales and marketing practices and methodologies relevant to increasing product sales and excellent customer relations. Ensure timely deliveries of orders and management of stock levels Adhere to credit policies and procedures Maintain all administrative responsibilities associated with this position Monthly report on sales and marketing activities Adhere to any legal or medical requirements and inform management of changed requirements Responsible with product registration processes including: Nappi coding Funding approval from all Medical aids Registration and approval with Hospital Groups Respond to quotation requests and all tender requirements Matric Nursing Qualification and/or Sales and Marketing Qualification 3 to 6 years experience in marketing and sales of medical devicesStrong network of surgeons and key stakeholders in vascular and radiology fields. Knowledge and experience in use of sales techniques preferably in working with Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proven analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with external and internal clients. Fluency in English. Fluency in Afrikaans will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently and as a team member, while using discretion in decision-making and sound judgment in problem solving Proficient in Microsoft Office – specially Excel at advanced level, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
