Qualifications: Completed Bookkeeper Certificate Completed Diploma in Accounting Skills: Excel Advanced Non-Negotiable Sage300 Pastel Accounting Job description: Allocate all monies entering and leaving the bank account. Load cash receipts for the previous on AS400 The staff member is required to attend to escalated customer queries filing. The staff member is required to provide a support function to the debtor and billing departments. Weekly duties would be staff member is required to load all “hand checks” (cheques and money coming directly off the bank account onto the AS400 Vouch all invoices received on the AS400. Closing cash receipts, checking if all money into the bank account has been receipted. The stuff member is required to liase with company partners regarding all purchase orders and fixed assets. Closing of accounts payable, making sure all invoices are vouched and all hand checks have been loaded. Preparation of drafts and payments for all monies owed internationally. Ensure that monies entering and leaving the bank account have been loaded on AS400 and balances to the bank account. Ensure that all the bills have been received and paid. Preparation of monthly VAT returns Preparation of STC Dividend returns. Preparation of provisional tax returns The staff member is required to liaise with business partners and send salary to relevant party. The staff member is required to liase with party involved regarding cash receipts and hand checks. Staff member is required to calculate commission due-to re-sellers and prepare a commission spreadsheet. Staff member is required to generate purchase orders and ensure they are signed off and allocated correctly.
