Job Spec:
- Coordination of all the activities within execution packages.
- Management and oversight of appointed contractors.
- Plan and resource site requirements.
- Give input and advice on construction issues pertaining to design, scheduling, cost saving measures, potential construction problems and procurement of material and equipment.
- Advise and provide input into issues pertaining to design, scheduling, cost saving initiatives, potential construction problems and procurement of material and equipment.
- Ensure all site construction activities comply with quality and legislative requirements.
- Daily controls, site audits, facilitation of site technical and progress meetings, integration and coordination between Harmony Owners team, contractors and Harmony Operations departments.
- Assist with Engineering site inspections.
- Manage onboarding of contractors.
- Track performance of contractors, against forecasting and business plan. Assist with evaluating monthly payment applications and compensation events.
- Consolidate and Report Monthly to the Project Manager on all allocated work packages.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant B degree or equivalent.
- Qualification or certification in General Management or Project Management will be advantageous.
Minimum 10 years construction management experience in the underground Mining Industry.
