Travel Management Company in Sandton is looking for a Credit Controller with experience with debtors recons and queries and general accounting principles. Experience within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Experience required:
Knowledge of Excel
General Accounting Principles
Experience in preparing debtor reconciliations and resolving queries
Experience in a debtors department in the Hospitality Industry is advantageous
Knowledge of Tourplan is advantageous
Duties include:
Accurate allocation of payments received via the various channels available
Actively collecting payments according to payment terms
Assisting with Tourplan queries
Reviewing the Debtors'' Age Analysis fortnightly and providing detailed feedback
Attending monthly Debtors Review meetings
Send invoices, account statements and payment reminders to agents
Escalating and resolving queries in line with predetermined internal processes
Conduct monthly debtor reviews
Reviewing unallocated cash weekly
Debtors Reconciliations
Weekly Bank reconciliations
Month-end processes
