One of South Africa's top companies is on the hunt for a Cashbook & Credit Controller, and they want someone just like you If you're up for an exciting opportunity, don't wait any longer – apply today and seize the chance to be part of something truly incredible Your responsibility will include but is not limited to: Cashbook reconciliation of the main account, this will include salaries, wages, project accounts, and ensuring all bank transactions are reconciled daily for the previous working day Load cashbook beneficiaries and payments on the accounting software to extract payment files to be imported into the banking system Process customer invoicing, debit notes, credit notes, as well as monthly interest charges on overdue accounts Downloading statements after month end and sending them to each customer combined with follow-up emails if balances are outstanding Weekly Follow-up on overdue and outstanding debtors accounts Ensure debtor's feedback and reconciliation reports are done and submitted timeously Issue and replenish petty cash and update the petty cash recon and adjustments to the general ledger for both foreign currency and local Arrange foreign exchange for personnel travelling internationally for work done abroad Buy and sell foreign funds using spot, swap, foreign, and forward exchange orders. Update and maintain Foreign and Local Cash accounts and ensure customer payments are received Process Foreign payments and receipts in accordance with import and export policies with an understanding Confirm settlements of Inflows of funds via email Maintain manual and electronic filing systems of debtor's administration for invoices, recons, statements etc Process new customer credit applications, ensuring all accompanying documents are submitted and the information provided is accurate as per the procedure Responsible and ensuring that the shipping documents for foreign invoices are saved in the respective folders with all relevant export documentation Ensuring the export tracking sheet is up to date Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role Qualification: Diploma Contact ANNARI STANDER on astandercommunicate.co.za , quoting the Ref: CTF018401.
