Well known and listed organisation in the manufacturing industry requires an experienced Debtors Clerk / Credit Controller with 3 years relevant experience. Individuals that apply must live in Roodepoort / Randburg or surrounding areas. To be considered for the position you will have to meet the following criteria:- Matric / Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 A minimum of 3 years Debtors / Credit Control experience is essential Debtors experience within a manufacturing environment Computer literate and efficient in Microsoft Office Computer literacy on Syspro is an advantage A post-matric qualification in Bookkeeping / Accounts or Credit Control will be an added advantage Perform the following essential tasks : Open new debtor accounts and ongoing maintenance thereof Accurate processing of data and notes Allocating debtors payments from remittances received from customers Strict application and monitoring of credit limits and terms Administering of settlement discounts as per terms Supply statements, invoices, POD's and relevant information on time to debtors Proactively investigate and follow up on queries with sales and customers Reporting all outstanding customer issues to management and highlighting any potential debtors problems Preparing the banking Generating reports from Syspro and in MS Excel and complete appropriate comments Obtaining authorisation from head office, to increase and re-instatement credit limits Filing of all documents and correspondence in accordance with POPIA Reconciling debtors accounts Timeous completion of month-end procedures and reporting Strict adherence to all company controls, procedures and processes Ad hoc duties Excellent interpersonal skills Good communication and advanced telephone skills Good administration skills with a high level of numeracy Ability to deal with a number of tasks at a time Ability to work according to deadlines and with attention to detail Desired Skills: credit control debtors syspro recon credit notes accounts receivable invoice Employer & Job Benefits: Basic salary medical aid provident fund
