Creditors Clerk - South Africa
Our client is looking for a Creditors Clerk who will be responsible for capturing, reconciling supplier invoices and general office duties. The main duties and responsibilities include: Retrieving and printing statements for monthly creditors Reconcile purchase orders to outstanding invoices Prepare remittances to suppliers Filing of monthly creditors; COD creditors/ payments and board accounts recons/ payments Ensuring payments made on quotes or proformas that the invoice/ tax invoice is attached Validation of month end creditors statements Ensuring banking details are correct and updated as per system and invoices for cod clients Processing monthly creditors invoices and credit notes. Monthly recons (statements; invoices and comments/ notes) Processing and reconciliations of return credit journals Manage supplier returns Dealing with queries on all accounts/ statements Ensure outstanding credits are received and captured relating to returns or invoices not received/ part returns/ incorrect stock received. Updating supplier when documents sent – price lists; price increases or any changes to supplier; banking details. Organising courier company for samples; documents or parcels - collections or delivery and filling in waybills – match up with invoice Processing orders relating to admin or finance or IT Maintenance and Logistics – once invoice received then receipting done upon approval Supplier invoice/ credit note processing and double check to ensure customer cost is invoiced on tooling analysis Filing in supplier account applications and getting it approved within reason – emailing with supporting documents
