We are a Private Company which own several established Spar / Superspar and Tops outlets in the Western Cape. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Creditors Clerk to join our team and provide essential financial and administrative support based at our Head Office in Blackheath, Cape Town The successful candidate will have an opportunity to grow with and grow individually within the organisation. He/she will report to the group financial manager. Capturing of all supplier invoices (high volume) whilst ensuring that all tax invoices are SARS compliant. Sending out supplier's remittances. Perform monthly creditor reconciliation of all supplier accounts. Ensuring that the GRN trIal balance is clear at month end. Filling in credit applications. Managing payments. Following up and reporting on all claims raised (Spar DC, drop shipment and direct suppliers). Handling payment queries. Filing Management of variance creditor payment terms (COD, 14 days, 30 days). Compiling accurate payment lists weekly. Assisting the Finance Team and Financial Manager with various tasks. Minimum requirement: Grade 12/ Matric Certificate with Maths. A financial tertiary qualification (advantageous). Spar Retail Creditors experience would be a significant advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Quick learner and efficient. An approach which focuses on getting the work done correctly. Deadline orientated. An ability to independently complete assigned tasks within identified time limits. Market Related Apply Now
