Known to be an industrial equipment supplier with a good reputation for providing a range of high quality solutions, our client is looking for a dedicated Creditors Clerk to join their finance team and play a crucial role in their company. Submit your CV to Stormsalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Ensure supplier invoices are matched against requisitions, purchase orders and goods received notes with reference to quantities, quality, description and price. Ensure requisitions, purchase orders and invoices are properly authorized and are in accordance with the appropriate levels of authority. Ensure the correct GL account and vendor account is utilised when processing supplier invoices. Management of Goods Received Not Invoiced and open supplier purchase orders. Following up on outstanding documentation (supplier invoices, delivery notes, purchase order approvals, discrepancy corrections etc.) Ensure that the correct VAT is applied and processed on supplier invoices and credit notes. File all supplier invoices and credit notes after payment run according to the agreed filing protocols. Preparation of monthly creditor reconciliations. Keeping up with any relevant financial laws. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting BCom Honours Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience performing creditors / accounts payable duties. Experience within a medium sized organisation is preferred. Skills & Competencies: Understanding the fundamentals of Financial Management Excellent communication skills Sound accounting knowledge Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent organisational and planning skills Prioritisation of time Attention to detail High level of integrity If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
