Responsibilities: Coordinate the dispatch of goods according to customer orders and delivery schedules. Prepare documents, including invoices, packing lists, and labels, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure that the correct products are loaded onto delivery vehicles. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate the dispatch process and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock availability for dispatch. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations, during the dispatch process. Track the status of outgoing deliveries and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders as needed. Investigate and resolve any delivery-related issues, such as damaged or missing items, in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including shipment details, delivery schedules, and inventory levels. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Dispatch Supervisor or Logistics Manager to support the smooth operation of the distribution center. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in logistics or supply chain management preferred. Proven experience working in a dispatch or logistics role within the FMCG sector, with a strong understanding of dispatch procedures and documentation requirements. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners. Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet business requirements. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards related to the transportation and handling of goods. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for certain dispatch roles.
