Job Desciption Novus Print: Paarden Eiland is currently seeking to appoint a Driver (Heavy – Code 10) with experience in a driver position within a printing environment. The successful incumbent will report to the Operations Manager. Key Duties and Responsibilities Daily deliveries to and from clients and suppliers (includes loading and offloading of goods) Knowledge and adherence of all legal requirements and regulations stated in the National Road Traffic Act Accurate record keeping of all deliveries Keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy Perform daily maintenance checks Plan routes on a cost and time effective manner Notify the Manager of any major repairs or maintenance Educational Requirements Matric or equivalent qualification Valid unendorsed Code 10 with PDP driver's license Valid Forklift License Experience Requirements MInimum 3 years’ experience as a Code 10 driver Experience in delivering goods to and from clients and suppliers Skills and Competencies Computer Literate To communicate with clients in an appropriate manner Excellent driving skills Computer Literate The ability to follow instructions Adherence to Health and Safety regulations Good punctuality and attendance record The ability to maintain high housekeeping standards Be willing to work shifts and overtime when required Good driving manners
