ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for a competent Electrician who will perform duties on high, medium and low voltage
electricity transmission & distribution equipment and systems (focusing on Substations,
Transformers and Switchgears) as well as other functions as stipulated below.

We are looking for a competent Electrician who will perform duties on high, medium and low voltage
electricity transmission & distribution equipment and systems (focusing on Substations,
Transformers and Switchgears) as well as other functions as stipulated below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wiring and building of panels.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, electrical and mechanical drawings etc.
- Working on breakdowns
- Fault detection, dismantling, and manufacturing of parts
- Repair of machines.
- Red Seal Electrician qualified
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude and good math skills
- Work independently
- Good communication abilities
- Reliable and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic
- Computer literate
- Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations
- Must have drivers licence and own transport
- Min 3 years experience after qualification
- AC and DC Equipment (Traction DC and AC substations) and (LT and HT) experience
- Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment
