Reference: ITE005707-KN-1Are you an experienced and knowledgeable networking professional ready to take on a new challenge? We're seeking a skilled Engineer Networking to join our team and play a vital role in enhancing our IT service delivery through technical expertise and strategic alignment with business needs. Key Roles and Responsibilities:WAN Links: Manage WAN links, ensuring alignment with provider SLAs and business requirements. Coordinate with providers to optimize WAN bandwidth and redundancy. Implement appropriate security measures and protocols on WAN links. Maintain an accurate WAN diagram and update connectivity procedures and policies. Routers: Manage company-owned routers and supplier relationships. Implement security measures and protocols on routers. Ensure router redundancy and capacity meet business expectations. Monitor routers for performance and security measures. Switches (Wired and Wireless): Manage switches, ensuring security measures and protocols are in place. Optimize switch redundancy and capacity to meet business needs. Monitor switches for performance and security measures. Active Directory: Conduct regular reviews of Active Directory and DNS architecture. Ensure adherence to procedures for resource management and access restrictions. Review Group Policy and Active Directory integration with other domains. WAN Compression: Maintain and support WAN compression devices, managing licenses and support contracts. Configure, install, and deploy WAN compression devices. Firewalls: Manage firewall support licensing and access rules. Implement Intrusion Prevention and Detection Measures. Regularly review firewall security reports and implement necessary actions. Ensure firewall configurations are backed up before and after each change. Anti-Virus: Establish and update antivirus procedures and policies. Ensure compliance of all devices with antivirus policies. Remote Connectivity / Access: Provide remote access to approved users and revoke access when not required. Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies Required: Relevant IT Networking and Security Certifications, plus appropriate Diploma. 5 Years’ Experience in networking and security. Experience and product-specific training. Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.
