Dalton Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client seeks to employ a Farm Manager with the necessary experience to manage all aspects of the farm operation. Only candidate with the relevant experience will be considered. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Agricultural Degree/Diploma advantageous 2 years’ experience in sugar cane or crop farm management Knowledge on sugar cane farming (courses in sugar cane advantageous) Computer literate Strong management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Maintenance orientated Able to speak Zulu Valid driver’s licence RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Manage all aspects of the farm operation – mainly sugar cane Checking up on work and supervising labour Driving of a Fire Truck to burn cane Carting Staff Basic mechanical work on farm equipment Stock taking and ordering Diesel capturing and monitoring ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
