Financial Operations Manager Location: Centurion Salary: R36 000CTC Duties: Implement and manage a financial control system Financial Management and daily processing of bank accounts, reconciliations, debtors, creditors, petty cash, fixed assets Ensure invoicing and collections are done timeously Statutory returns and compliance with SARS, CIPRO and Department of Labour Processing of leave, monthly travel claims, cellphone and expenses, and preparing payroll input reports Ensure external and legal analysts' hours and invoices are captured, checked, balanced and billed; Preparing management accounts, and financial statements and liaising with auditors at year-end Liaison with suppliers (Landlord, IT service providers, printers, office furniture, etc.) Running exception reports to ensure that projects, payment allocations and invoicing tie up. Manage the Office Administrator and Cleaner to ensure the office runs smoothly Travel bookings and ordering of office supplies Allocating projects to analysts based on loading and targets, are re-allocation when necessary Ensure analyst weekly planning is done before the monthly OPCO meeting, prepare, check and present the OPCO pack at the OPCO meeting Check project age analysis on regular basis and give feedback regarding open jobs Monthly checks on analysts' certificates issued and follow-up on A0 closing procedures Continuously develop & maintain Project Status en Incentives spreadsheets Managing the smooth running of IT within the company Maintaining up-to-date personal records for all staff and preparing monthly scorecards for performance reviews for staff. Minimum Requirements: Bcom accounting/honours Between 6 and 10 years of work experience in the financial controlling/accounting field Have a good understanding of accounting and interpretation of financial systems and financial statements Experience in implementing and managing financial controls.
