At least 4 years leadership experience in the insurance industry

RE5 qualification is non negotiable
Proven track record in commercial and risk management in financial services or related fields.
Successful track record with B2B sales.
Experience in the trade credit industry / short term insurance would be hugely advantageous

Job description:
Report to shareholders and Director
Be responsible for implementing policies, procedures and controls to manage operations with ongoing view to automating and improving efficiency
Communicate with the Advisors, clients, primary insurers and stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Be responsible for all operational aspects of the business - preparing quotations and presenting to deal forum, issuing quotes and policy documents, issuing invoices and collecting premium due, daily/weekly/monthly reporting to stakeholders, handling claims, and assisting with compliance requirements.
General administrative and compliance duties
Regular risk assessments and feedback to Exco
Assist with financial reporting (Management accounts, etc)
Identification of prospects within the client base and engagement with clients to sell the new product offering
Identification of prospects and sales initiatives directly and through engagement with the sales team
Create structure in this new division, create a pipeline, see gaps in the market and take on the challenge with a "business builder" mindset.
