Global Course Coordinator - Cape Town City Centre

SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online. SACAP is looking for a Global Course Co-Ordinator that will provide ongoing administrative support to the SACAP Global team, as well as frontline technical and course support & guidance to learners and assessors across allocated courses. S/he implements a variety of tasks to ensure excellent course preparation, delivery and evaluation end to end. Duties include but are not limited to: Providing administrative support to the SACAP Global Team; Thoroughly understanding the Learning Management System in order to provide expert course and technical support to stakeholders; Seamlessly completing all course preparation, delivery and review tasks; Monitoring classes and queries to provide support: identify any learner and/or assessor challenges or concerns and following up appropriately; Monitoring courses: gathering and reporting on course data. This role reports directly to the Lead Course Co-Ordinator: SACAP Global. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: A degree qualification in the discipline of education or psychology or a related cognate field (e.g. HR). Minimum of 1 year work experience in daily online student support via an Learning Management System 2 years of full-time course administration and co-ordination experience, preferably within the field of Higher Education or corporate training. Technologically savvy, with a special interest in Online Education. SKILLS: Strong attention to detail Able to collect, monitor and report on relevant data Excellent communication skills (both verbally and in writing) Technologically savvy / strong digital literacy skills Excellent planning, time-management, prioritisation and organisational skills Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Is flexible and adaptable where needed to achieve results Solution-focused with a bias to action Proactive with the ability to anticipate and plan ahead of time A keen problem solver, who comes up with solutions and enjoys putting processes in place Manages stress well and has the ability to work under pressure Able to hold self accountable Well-versed in SACAP Global’s policies and procedures PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Responsible, reliable and purpose-driven in their approach Self-motivated and holds themselves to a standard of excellence when completing tasks A passion for online education Displays high integrity in all situations Is diplomatic, professional and person-centred in their interactions Is a team player Operating Hours This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays: Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 Due to the nature of this role, there will be a need to work flexible hours to the extent to which it is reasonably necessary to perform the duties of the position.
