Our client is looking to employ a SCM Governance Specialist who have expertise and experience in the Public sector/State Owned Companies for various provincies on a fixed-term contract. The Senior Specialist is responsible for conducting bid reviews on RFQ's, RFP's, procurement by other means and variation/ expansion of contracts. Provide day to day support to Operational Division's, SCM Governance Community, Bid Committees, and any other governance structures on SCM matters. Update all SCM related Policies, procedures, checklist as and when required. Analyse audit findings with aim of identifying root causes and develop appropriate strategic intervention to minimise re-occurrence. Monitor the SCM compliance and provide report to management. Support the implementation of self-control framework and identify areas that hinders the implementation. Attend to all SCM disputes between Operating division and Client's Internal Audit and provide appropriate guidance. Attend to all SCM Governance, Risk and Compliance related matters as per the mandate and function of the unit. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in SCM/ Bcom An Honors Commecial Degree will be added advantage Minimum Experience 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management and; Experience in SCM Governance, risk Previous Compliance role will be an advantage.
