Our client is looking for a B Comm (or similar business degree) graduate to join their team. All training will be provided on the job. No prior experience required. Minimum Qualifications B Comm, B.Sc. or business oriented degree Drivers license SA citizen Skills and attributes • Self-starter • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations • Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion is required • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude, must be able to work unsupervised • Good people skills Responsibilities The candidate will be expected to: • Underwriting: risk evaluation, quoting of new business and renewal business • Credit control: monthly allocation of monthly and annual premiums received as well as following up on any unpaid premiums with the Brokers • Issuing and loading Insurance Documents o policy documents, endorsement, invoice, scheme admin, renewal notices etc • Month End Reports • Data reports • Broker Training, entertaining, visits etc. • Assisting with compliance reports • Administration and monitoring of Broker contracts Desired Skills: Business Acumen Finance Risk Analysis About The Employer: Our client is a small, highly specialised Underwriting Management agency based in the Sandton area.
