We look for colleagues who Care, Dare and Deliver. Responsibilities: Operates Gravure machine, troubleshoot and monitors operation. Prepares machine by performing a variety of tasks to produce a consistent, high-quality product by precise control of feeding, adjusting colour to match customer goals, register and clean product to exceed customer’s expectations. Makes adjustments, clears jams, while processing product, maintaining speed and quality. Ensures effcient and rapid make ready, with unloading and loading. Support and communicate all ISO standards and quality objectives to the team. Maintain and follow all company policies and procedures for safety, personal protection equipment at all times while in designated areas and specific tasks requiring use of PPE. Follow established precudures and guidelines for the handling and disposal of all hazardous material/waste. Properly stores and arranges work area to maintain cleanliness by following all safety rules and regulations for grounding, storage, spill clean -up etc. Use of close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Motivate the team to improve quantity and provide training as required to Print Assistants. Conduct team meetings when necessary and consistently uses appropriate established channes of communication. Minimum Qualification and Experience: Matric Gravure Printing qualification and/or Trade Minimum 5 years operation of Gravure Print Machines in Plastic Manufacturing Industry. Skills Required: Good troubleshooting skills Excellent interpersonal skills Computer skills and mathematical skills Please note that preference will be given to EE candidates.
